About Me
from farm to broadway
I was born in Essexville, Michigan, and grew up on a potato farm. Let’s say, I was an enthusiastic child with unbridled curiosity… that captures the essence! So, I enrolled in gymnastics, then dance, then came the proverbial holy land for all young artists: the community theater.
I became obsessed with everything that happened on a stage--dancing, acting, singing, the occasional rollerblading/acrobatic routine... I simply could not get enough! In fact, my father built me a stage in our basement (which still exists, though covered in storage boxes). So, this was my life until I was 18 and took my enthusiasm, to Boston, where I attended The Boston Conservatory to get my BFA in Musical Theatre performance.
So, 4 years of college later and a BFA in tow, I set off to New York City, to try and make dreams happen. It was in my first month of being in the city that I got an audition for the 2009 revival production of West Side Story that was already out on tour. I auditioned, had a callback, then another, and eventually booked the show—cheers to 22-year-old me!
Fast-forward a few years, and I've been in 3 Broadway shows, several Television shows, a Feature film, 7 Broadway tours, and regional productions in virtually every time zone. I have worked with TONY winners, EMMY winners, OSCAR nominees, and been around the world performing for hundreds of thousands of people. While it seems like my plate might be full, I’ve also found time to teach and choreograph, turning my performing experiences into workshops, classes, and a creative output for all the knowledge absorbed throughout my career. My team working skills have also led me to being an unstoppable associate and assistant choreographer on shows in NYC, Chicago, and on the streaming platforms Netflix and Peacock.
After completing my 3rd Broadway show as a performer in early 2026, I’m home in NYC, planning a wedding with my favorite tomato (a pet name for my incredible fiancé Alex). My creative output also includes my passion for clothes, vintage, styling, and fashion. If you see me in the wild, which I hope you do, I am sure to be wearing a great outfit!
